At My Dance Fitness, our journey begins with Jessica's lifelong passion for dance. From the age of four, when her mother enrolled her in weekly jazz and tap classes. Jessica's love for movement and expression was undeniable. Her enthusiasm was so infectious that she’d leave the studio still clicking her tap shoes across the parking lot!
Inspired by icons like Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Gene Kelly, Jessica's dedication to dance grew into a commitment to excellence, creativity, and performance. She spent over 20 hours a week training competitively, navigating the challenges of balancing rigorous practice with school life.
While Jessica often felt misunderstood during her school years, dance became her sanctuary—a place where she could express herself freely and connect with others who shared her passion. It was here that she found her voice and cultivated the confidence and artistry that define her today.
At My Dance Fitness, Jessica brings her journey full circle, creating a welcoming space where others can discover the joy and empowerment that dance brings to life.
Jessica, founder of My Dance Fitness, brings over 20 years of dance expertise, a BFA in Performance Arts Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), and training under industry icons like Vlad Novitski, Nadia Potts and Kenny Pearl. A seasoned performer in Toronto, Montreal, Niagara Falls, and New York, she has also taught ballet, jazz, hip hop, Latin, ballroom, and more at prestigious studios across the GTA. Certified in various dance disciplines and a member of the Canadian Dance Teachers' Association, Jessica specializes in creating personalized, unforgettable wedding dances. Whether you envision a romantic waltz, a playful mash-up, or a classic routine, Jessica tailors each lesson to reflect your unique story. The Aurora studio is conveniently situated near Wellington Street East and Yonge Street in Aurora, ON. This vibrant space is located at 305 Industrial Parkway South, Unit 19, Aurora, ON, L4G 6X7—just off Industrial Parkway on the west side of Bayview Avenue. The studio also features plenty of parking for your convenience.
Vaughan, Ontario
Our Vaughan / Concord studio, located at 219 Connie Crescent in the vibrant Langstaff Business Park, is perfectly positioned in the heart of Vaughan, near Dufferin Road and Langstaff Street. Easily accessible from Highway 7, Highway 407, and Highway 400, this convenient Concord location offers plenty of parking for your ease. This studio features 13-foot high ceilings, laminate flooring, 7-foot high mirrors, and a sound system equipped with an aux plug-in, amplifier, speakers, and remote. Whether you're in Vaughan, Thornhill, or the surrounding areas, our studio is the ideal choice for your needs.
